Main specifications and applications

RPS-5000L is a full four-quadrant, regenerative AC/DC electronic load, specially designed to meet the testing of high-power power systems. It is suitable for electric vehicle charging piles, energy storage systems, renewable energy inverters, industrial generators, etc. Intermittent system UPS and other fields. Through bidirectional recovery technology, RPS-5000L can feed load energy back to the grid, effectively reducing operating costs. Supports a variety of load configurations, including constant current (CC), constant power (CP), constant resistance (CR), circuit emulation (CZ), phase lead/lag, etc., which can be used for steady-state and transient test requirements, and can be transparently The power bank supports capacities from 30kVA – 225kVA.

The RPS-5000L offers accurate grid simulation and efficient bidirectional energy recovery, replicating real grid conditions. It is widely used in renewable energy testing, including energy storage, and EV charging stations. The system can feed over 90% of absorbed energy back to the grid, reducing energy waste and electricity costs. It also features a built-in protection mechanism that triggers alarms and circuit breaker protection in response to grid abnormalities, ensuring compatibility with grid protection standards.

RPS-5000L offers versatile AC/DC load simulations with basic modes like constant current (CC), constant voltage (CV), and constant power (CP). It also supports advanced AC load modes such as rectification, inductive/capacitive load simulation, and half-cycle load functions. Ideal for testing electric vehicle chargers, energy storage systems, inverters, and other power equipment, the RPS-5000L provides flexible solutions to simulate various current, voltage, and power conditions.

Electric vehicle and charging test solutions

Supports three-phase and single-phase load modes

The RPS-5000L offers both three-phase and single-phase operation modes, supporting independent control of three-phase loads and multiple connection options (Δ or Y) to suit various test scenarios. In single-phase mode, it provides flexibility for asymmetric voltage or specific grid designs, making it ideal for testing EV charging stations, UPS, and industrial power supplies.

RPS-5000L is equipped with a 7-inch touch screen with knob control, making it easy to operate. The device's LCD touch screen provides intuitive control and real-time data monitoring, allowing testers to quickly set parameters and monitor test status. In addition, it supports a variety of connection interfaces, including USB, LAN and optional GPIB or CAN bus, making remote control and automated testing more convenient.

Advanced load mode

The RPS-5000L offers advanced AC load functions, including 13 circuit simulation modes, inductive/capacitive load simulation, and half-cycle load pulling, enabling it to simulate various grid and load conditions for precise testing of EV charging stations, UPS, and industrial power supplies. For DC load testing, it includes BATT mode for simulating battery discharge, SWD mode for transient response testing, and OCP/OPP functions for over-current and over-power protection. The SWP mode allows dynamic adjustment of switching current and frequency, while the COMB function supports flexible testing configurations with modes like CC, CR, CV, and CP.

PowerVUE remote control software

Infinipower PowerVUE software, compatible with Windows PCs, enables local or remote control via LAN and GPIB interfaces. Its graphical interface supports intelligent test monitoring and management. PowerVUE includes test modes compliant with IEC 61000-4-11, 4-13, 4-14, 4-17, 4-28, and 4-29, ensuring adherence to international standards.
